Jackpot! is a short film we are currently casting for in Knoxville, Tennessee.

It is the heartwarming story of Ruby and Emma. As a single mother Ruby tries her best to put food on the table, when her daughter Emma is diagnosed with a potentially fatal disease Ruby hasn't a clue what to do. With an expensive medical procedure needed and no insurance or money Ruby is about at her wits end. That is until she wins a nice hit on the lottery. Saved! Not so fast.

Holding a ticket with enough money to save Emma Ruby has to make it to the Lottery office to claim their prize. Only one problem, Quevon, Ruby's psycho-ex and Emma's father. He's never even seen Emma yet all of a sudden he wants to. At least long enough to get his hands on that ticket. It's one mad dash to the lottery office with a strange cast of characters along the way.

Everyone that has seen the 1st reading of the script is wild about Krista. Her mom says she's 11 going on 40, I say she's in this movie going on to be a star. This young lady is incredible.

Melody Hoover is Ruby

Melody has brought a new level of dedication to this production. Melody is an exceptional actress and a real natural beauty. Always on time with a smile and always willing to do whatever she has to to make the production a success.

Ben Fields is Quevon

Ben is an awesome actor, he's the real deal. We are lucky to have got him. The running theme here seems to be good luck. Come back and check, we are going to transform him into an evil villain.

Kat Berardi is Melba Rea

I know Kat in real life and I love her. Everyone loves her! She is a wonderful person. She's a natural at anything fun. She is actually much younger than she appears but the script calls for Melba Rea to be older so she hammed it up. She's so awesome.

As a special thanks and wonderful mention we would like to say thanks to Lynn Craig. This lady is an unbelievable actress and I was dying to have her in the production. Due to scheduling it wasn't possible, but!!! We did manage to get her to coach Melody and Krista for their roles. It's working out wonderfully. Lynn is also a very talented acting coach! Who would have thought it? She is 100% wonderful. Correction: WE begged her to be the News Anchor and she actually did it! You can see it on youtude now.

Krista, Melody, Lynn and Kat!!!!

Hugs are the first thing when Ruby comes home after a hard days work.
